YOUR NEW CONSERVATORY ROOF
1. First we completly remove the existing conservatory roof. We do not re-use any of the old aluminium sections as this will lead to future condensation problems.
2. We then manufacture a new timber roof structure with breathable felt and battons. This procedure is completed on the first day to ensure continuous security and make the building watertight.
3. On day 2 the new lightweight roof tiles are cut shaped and fitted to the manufacturers instructions, with velux windows if required.
4. Next, the hips and ridges are shaped and fitted complete with new lead flashings, gutters and downpipes.
5. We then move indoors and fully insulate the new roof with 125mm of Kingspan insulation which is the current building regulation requirement for a new house roof.
6. After installing any new electric wiring the ceiling is plasterboarded and plastered with taped joints.
7. Finally electrical fittings are installed and the new conservatory is ready.
